Pedro here! Please, senior, enjoy some fine tequila and kick off your boots. Let's explain a little about the Compañía Minera de Peñoles railroad.
It was very considerate of Mr. George E. Hoke to write a very good history of the railroad for us. You can read the history of the mining operation here.
One of the best features of the mine is a long suspension RAILROAD bridge. Now doesn't that feature alone get you excited! It does me.
What I love most about this railroad is that it is REAL 30" GAUGE! There are very few 30" prototypes, and even fewer as crazy as this one. So while we can have some fun with this line, many of the amusing features are REAL!
